The role

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Solicitor. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for the law, excellent communication skills, and be able to think strategically. You will gain invaluable experience in a variety of legal areas, and have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team of solicitors.

Responsibilities

- Participate in legal research and analysis
- Assist with the drafting and review of legal documents
- Attend court hearings and client meetings
- Provide advice and guidance to clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Assist with the preparation of cases for court proceedings
- Keep up to date with legal developments

Requirements

- Law degree or equivalent
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure

The Training Programme

Typically, your two-year training contract will provide you with hands-on experience in a number of different areas of the law, one of them non-contentious. The training period will be split into four six-month placements. For some part of your training contract, you may spend time at more than one of our offices in order to give you experience of different types of clients and work. However, we do flex our training contracts to suit the needs of the business, and you as our trainee.
