Sr. Paralegal, Employment Litigation
Fremont, CA Sr. Paralegal, Employment Litigation Tesla is looking for a talented Sr. Paralegal to join its legal team and support the Employment Litigation Team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability, as well as 5 years of relevant experience handling labor and employment matters. The position will require the following: Supporting internal and external counsel at all stages of litigation and administration Assisting with the factual development and analysis of cases, including talking with the relevant business people, gathering and reviewing documents, and creating timelines Managing the discovery process, including the collection, retention, and production of documents, drafting written responses to discovery, and responding to third party subpoenas Drafting basic legal documents, including settlement agreements, document retention notices, and response letters Preparing court documents for filing Negotiating settlements Maintaining the litigation calendar and monitoring case docket The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of litigation motion practice, discovery, arbitration, trial and appellate procedure, as well as strong organizational, analytical, fact-finding, and negotiation skills. They should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work efficiently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and manage multi-dimensional projects in a fast-paced environment. Compensation and Benefits Tesla offers a competitive pay with a range of $72,000 - $198,000/annual salary, as well as cash and stock awards and benefits.
