Associate Principal Corporate Actions Analyst, Ts
Rockville, MD Organization is seeking an Associate Principal Corporate Actions Analyst to join its Rockville, MD team. This is an entry-level professional role in which the incumbent will perform their assigned roles, develop job-related skills, and work under direct supervision. ## Job Responsibilities The Corporate Actions Analyst will be responsible for: * Reviewing and analyzing corporate action submissions regarding dividends, bankruptcies, liquidations, rights offerings, redemptions, splits, name changes and trading symbol changes for Over The Counter companies. * Utilizing computer resources and software applications for managing and tracking cases. * Assisting Member Firms, SRO's, Issuers, Exchanges, American Depository Receipt Banks, other FINRA departments, and Data Vendors. * Contributing to the development and enhancement of section policies and procedures. * Working with senior staff and management regarding subsequent course of action to be taken. * Maintaining the relevant databases that support the operation of the marketplace. * Maintaining cases including all relevant documentation in CRM Application and ensure resolution within allotted timeframe. * Confering with senior staff and management as needed for guidance on complex issues. * Performing research, reading, and consultation in order to maintain substantial knowledge of the rules, regulations and guidelines that apply to the type of analysis being performed. ## Education and Experience Requirements The ideal candidate will have: * A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, law, business, economics or equivalent discipline. * One, preferably two years, related industry experience in a regulatory or financial markets environment. * Competency using a desktop computer with the full suite of office software applications. * Solid communication skills and excellent internal/external interpersonal skills. * Ability to work under pressure. * Attention to detail. * Ability to handle multiple projects/assignments simultaneously with competing priorities. ## Work Conditions The Corporate Actions Analyst will be expected to: * Work normally on-line in an open office environment. * Work a rotating work schedule which requires ability to work both an early and late schedule. * Occasional travel may be required. * Extended hours may be required. ## Salary Information The salary range for the Associate Principal Corporate Actions Analyst will vary depending on location. The proposed salary range for California is between $63,600 and $122,300, for Colorado/Hawaii between $57,500 and $101,900, for New York, NY between $69,000 and $122,300, and for Washington between $57,500 and $117,100. In addition to location, actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
