First and foremost, a strong background in personal injury law is essential - a minimum of three years' experience is preferred, along with a Juris Doctor degree, and admission to and good standing with the Maine state bar. You must have exceptional litigation and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for our clients both in and out of the courtroom. Attention to detail, excellent research and analytical skills, and the ability to think critically are crucial in building strong cases and crafting persuasive arguments. Proficiency in legal research software and tools, such as Westlaw, is required to conduct thorough legal research and stay current with relevant laws and precedents.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for drafting legal documents and communicating with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
