Tax Senior Associate
Greenville, SC 5 years of relevant progressive tax experience Experience in the People First culture Salary The salary for a Tax Senior Associate is competitive and commensurate with experience. # Tax Senior Associate As a Tax Senior Associate at FORVIS, you will be responsible for providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities with an emphasis on companies operating in the manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services and technology, and financial institutions industries. You will also be responsible for supervising, developing, and coaching professional tax staff, helping to develop and manage client relationships, representing FORVIS in the marketplace at networking events, participating in the proposal process for potential new clients, and contributing to FORVIS-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publications and to internal learning and development sessions. ## Qualifications In order to be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications: * Relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and experience in public accounting * A strong sense of ownership for delivering high-quality service to clients and experience servicing multiple client engagements * Excellent supervisory, team-building, and time-management skills * Ability to work well with a team as well as independently * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * A solution-finding attitude * Willingness to take initiative * Precise attention to detail * Ability to work under pressure and against target dates * Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * A minimum of 2 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience * CPA license or have secured the educational requirements to satisfy the 150-credit hour requirement necessary to obtain a CPA license. The following qualifications are preferred: * Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law degree, or a related field * 5 years of relevant progressive tax experience * Experience in the People First culture ## Salary The salary for a Tax Senior Associate is competitive and commensurate with experience. |
