Entry Level Legal Assistant

We are looking for an entry level legal assistant or paralegal to join our team in our Westbury, New York office. ### Job Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: * Communicating with clients, courts and opposing counsel * Maintaining a high-volume workload * Meeting deadlines * Utilizing advanced computer skills (Word and Excel experience required) * Taking pride in attention to detail and accuracy * Prioritizing multiple assignments * Working well under pressure * Demonstrating a strong interest in learning and growing in the legal field * Representing the firm in a professional manner ### Qualifications The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications: * Full time, in-office opportunity * Personable, positive and professional * Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative * Superior oral and written communication skills * Team player ### Compensation Salary range is $15.00-$18.00/hr. Salary is commensurate with experience.
