Criminal Defense Receptionist
Fort Worth, TX

Law Firm is looking for a Criminal Defense Receptionist, also known as a Smiling Bomb Diffuser. This position requires someone with a combination of research, legal writing, information writing, organizational, planning, reliability, listening, empathy, understanding, creativity, and confidentiality skills.

The daily job duties for this position include answering a moderate volume of incoming calls, responding to client questions and messages, contacting clients about court settings, payments, case progression, and reviews, maintaining and updating documents related to client accounts, coordinating calls, meetings, and communications between attorneys, clients, and potential clients, following up on all overnight or missed calls, and promptly following up with potential clients.

The desired qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree or proven experience in client relations, professional and empathetic spoken communication, proficient computer skills, friendly and welcoming personality, problem-solving aptitude, excellent telephone etiquette, excellent customer/client service skills, ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to take on tasks and responsibilities outside the job description.
