Springfield, MA Bulkley Richardson is Seeking an Intellectual Property Attorney Bulkley Richardson, the largest law firm in Western MA, is seeking an Intellectual Property Attorney with at least 5 years of experience in patent and other aspects of IP law. The successful candidate will be admitted to the Mass. Bar and the U.S. Patent Bar and have excellent communication skills and commercial acumen. Qualifications: • Juris doctorate from an accredited law school • Admission to the Mass. Bar and the U.S. Patent Bar • 5 years of experience with patent and other IP related matters • Ability to collaborate effectively and positively with others • Excellent communication skills • Commercial acumen Experience: • Prosecution of trademark and patent registration and protection • Management of trademark and patent portfolios, and familiarity with portfolio management systems/software • Negotiating and drafting IP licenses, assignments and other IP-related agreements • Conducting IP audits • Providing IP support for complex business agreements, including performing IP due diligence • Handling IP infringement issues, including drafting and responding to cease-and-desist letters • Assisting with litigation of IP related matters • Working within the USPTO • Advising clients regarding the protection, management, and monetization of IP Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience.
