Assistant County Attorney
Le Center, MN Organization is Hiring an Assistant County Attorney Organization is looking for an Assistant County Attorney to join their team. The position is responsible for providing effective legal services by representing the Organization's Board of Commissioners, other boards, commissions, and departments, as well as clients in the general practice law firm. Job Responsibilities: - Prepare and present findings, briefs, legal documents, and cases to courts and juries - Represent the Organization in handling juvenile delinquency matters and child protection cases - Provide a broad range of legal services in the general practice law firm - Other related work as apparent or assigned Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited college of law; experience preferred, but not necessary - Must be licensed in order to practice law in the State of Minnesota - Must have passed the Minnesota State Bar Exam or be in the process of obtaining a license to practice law - Remain licensed to practice law throughout employment - Must hold a valid Minnesota driver's license - Must appreciate the rural lifestyle and be willing to support the community Salary/Benefits: - Starting salary range is $68,000 - $97,000 per year - Health insurance, life insurance, retirement plan, vacation/sick/holiday pay and many other voluntary benefits Deadline: Job open until filled.
