Summer Associate in Civil Rights Program (Summer 2024)
New York City, NY ## Summer Associate in Civil Rights Program at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** (BLH) is a nationally recognized boutique law firm, with areas of practice including civil rights, employment, entertainment law, family law, criminal defense, real estate, and estate planning. In the summer of 2024, BLH is offering a Summer Associate Program in the civil rights practice for second-year law students. ### Program Overview The BLH Summer Associate Program is designed to provide an individualized experience for each participant. Summer Associates will have the opportunity to assist attorneys in all stages of federal and state civil rights litigation, including: * Legal research and memo writing * Drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings * Conducting intake interviews * Accompanying attorneys at court appearances and depositions ### Qualifications Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to civil liberties or civil rights. ### Application Process Applications should include a cover letter detailing the applicant’s interest in civil rights, a resume, transcript, and brief writing sample.
