Firmware QA Engineer


The RoleYou will work in a central organisation developing common firmware and helping create these new and innovative experiences. In this role you will:\u00A0Design and develop test methodologies for microcontroller-based Bluetooth products.Support project initiatives collaborating with the rest of the design team ensuring that development milestones and deadlines are met.Define and implement automated testing as applicableActively participate on, and at times lead, cross-functional teams to address firmware issues during development or field issues on existing products.Create processes and systems (for e.g., Jira) to continuously track and monitor bugs during multiple phases of the product development processAct as the gatekeeper for FW launches. Ensure only the best quality FW is released.Key QualificationsFor consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:Minimum 3 years experience in QA for firmware development\u00A0Experience with architecting test methodologies, automation tests for firmware developmentExperience in anticipating risks in the program and identify areas to work on to reduce risk.\u00A0Strong problem solving skillsKeep yourself up-to-date on latest industry trends, and are able to propose enhancements to existing methodologiesDesired Technical SkillsExperience leading QA on firmware projectsExperience with QAing firmware for low power battery powered consumer electronic devicesExperience developing tests for audio firmware that involve single, multiple microphones and speakersExperience creating or modifying test setups to test Bluetooth protocol stacks\u00A0Experience testing Audio over USB firmwareStrong presentation skillsEducationBS/MS in Computer Science /Electrical Engineering or equivalentLogitech is the sweet spot for people who are passionate about products, making a mark, and having fun doing it.
