An effective ERP will enable the streamlined design of end-to-end processes and provide faster, more accurate flow of information to meet the needs of a maturing and growing organization.\u202F\u202F As a result of this Strategic initiative and the resultant changes in our organisation we are now seeking an Order-to-Cash (OTC) Finance Operations, Sr. Manager/Associate Director - Dublin (Hybrid)\u00A0The Global OTC Operations Team is part of our Global Finance Organization, with team members in Dublin, Ireland and San Rafael, California. The Global OTC Operations Team is accountable for: Financial Accounting Oversight of all activities related to Customer Billing, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections Management, Intercompany Product Transactions, including SOX compliance and financial reporting deliverables. Process Oversight of the execution of the end-to-end OTC business processes, including facilitation of the cross-functional OTC Governance Forums, reporting and analysis of operational metrics and KPIs, and driving continuous process improvements that deliver efficiencies and scale in support of ongoing business growth. \u00A0Based in Dublin, Ireland, this role will report to the Sr. Director, Operations Controller and Process Excellence who is currently based in San Rafael, California. RESPONSIBILITIESThe OTC Finance Operations, Sr. Manager/Associate Director, will lead a global team of motivated and skilled members to provide a high-level of customer service and meet all key deliverables. The OTC Finance Operations lead has ultimate responsibility for the end-to-end operational performance of Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes to including Accounts Receivable, Billing, Credit, Collections and Intercompany Product Transactions. This includes responsibility for related controls, risk management and compliance with relevant global polices. This position will work closely with global cross0-functional areas and with external business partners to ensure the end-to-end business process supports the global business and accurate financial reporting. In addition, the role will lead any changes impacting our OTC end-to-end processes and work cross-functionally with colleagues in Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance to drive operational rigor, financial control, and process excellence with our global partners. The successful candidate will be a thought leader with a proven record of leading a global team and delivering scalable, financial operations processes. This is a high impact role with significant leadership accountability, and success in this role involves an ability to motivate, support & lead a high-performing diverse team of professionals. Besides day-to-day deliverables, the OTC Finance Operations lead will be charged with ensuring transactional accuracy and financial controls, continuous process improvement, and the diligent oversight of OTC deliverables.\u00A0KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\u00A0Manage the Global OTC Finance Operations Team who have responsibility for daily billing, credit, cash collection and Intercompany processes including resolving customer or internal queries, researching discrepancies, and applying adjustments (Credit/Debit Memos)Manage the monthly closing process and all related OTC deliverables (including the co-ordination and tracking of OTC Close activities, Sales/Revenue reconciliations, AR & Bad Debt Review and Reporting, Credit Review, Financial Results, and Dashboards, etc.) Learn, understand, support, and align with all related finance controls and policies, including credit, collections, and revenue recognition.SOX - Ensure internal controls are working effectively and propose improvements to support an evolving accounting and operational environment.Manage all relevant policies and procedures related to the Order to Cash process Support OTC related audit activities, including period-end financial audit processes with external auditorsPartner collaboratively with Business Process Owners across Finance, Commercial and Supply Chain organization to manage, analyze, and improve end-to-end OTC operations Manage communication with Global cross-functional teams including Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, and IT. Act as a trusted advisor and business partner to various stakeholders in the OTC transaction lifecycle including the Customer Service, Sales Operations, Legal, Pricing, Supply Chain, Treasury, IT, Finance, and accounting teams. Partner with colleagues in Commercial to help drive data management/governance of our contract and pricing.Develop specific Order to Cash Operations objectives, developing a suite of reliable measures/KPIs to benchmark and optimize performance on an ongoing basis.Proactively mitigate operational risks and resolve escalated issuesEnsure process workflows and documentation are properly maintained and up to date to the current processes.Partner with Outsourced Business Partners to drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost performance and business results. \u00A0 Provide Global Leadership to Users and cross-functional leadership through facilitation of OTC Governance framework Drive and influence process strategy, policy, and process development roadmaps through active participation OTC Governance FrameworkRepresent team globally in ongoing process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives; including cross-functional projects, system implementations, and end-to-end root cause analysis to identify risks and prevent errors. Aide in the rollout of new processes, and other business practice changes to ensure readiness in systems, process, policies, and internal controls Create a culture of financial discipline and operational excellence Continually review performance metrics, identify issues, and ensure that processes meet/exceed business requirements. \u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Participate in the development, management, ongoing analysis, and communication of key OTC End to End metrics and KPIs Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency & drive scalabilityAudit and evaluate current procedures, identifying opportunities and implementing improvements across all aspects of the process\u00A0EXPERIENCE & SKILLS\u00A0 Minimum 10 years experience in customer finance activities (AR, Revenue, Billing, Credit & Collections), reflecting increasing levels of responsibility and subject matter expertise, including management experience.
