An effective ERP will enable the streamlined design of end-to-end processes and provide faster, more accurate flow of information to meet the needs of a maturing and growing organization.\u202F \u202FGlobal OTC Operations Team is part of our Global Finance Organization, with team members in Dublin and California, the Global OTC Operations Team has audit & SOX compliance responsibility & accountability for all activities related to Accounts Receivable, Billing, Credit and Collections Management, the team also provides oversight to the transactional execution of OTC business processes and facilitates OTC Governance Forums across all levels of the organisation. The OTC Operations Team also has a focus on driving continuous process analysis and improvement to deliver efficiencies and scale in support of ongoing business growth.Based in Ireland, this role, will report to the Director OTC Finance Operations who is based in Dublin. The Order to Cash (OTC) Process Manager will be responsible for managing the global OTC business process for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** This position will work closely with global functional areas and external business partners to ensure the end-to-end business process supports the global business and accurate financial reporting. The OTC Process Manager will achieve this by ensuring timely and accurate processing of all OTC transactions. In addition, they will support the Director OTC Finance Operations, with process improvement, change management driving standardization and alignment of process, to support an effective and efficient end to end process with a robust financial control environment that enables accurate and timely accounting of transactions.RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary role of the OTC Business Process Manager\u00A0is to perform troubleshoot all sales orders and assist to identify and execute resolution to all exceptions, ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and SOX controls, along with appropriate order flow, and processing all transactions as per financial and reporting requirements. The Business Process Manager plays a critical role in supporting the timely and accurate hand-off of OTC transactional data to Revenue Accounting, and as such is accountable to ensuring compliance with all revenue recognition controls, customer contract and regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.\u00A0 The goal of the OTC Process Manager will be to provide technical and business process expertise to the global Order to Cash End to End process. Order to Cash consist of 3 distinct sub-processes, which are core Order Management, Account Receivables and Intercompany when related to OTC transactions. The OTC Process Manager will have specific daily/weekly/monthly tasks in these 3 Core areas. While this position will perform no IT technical configuration knowledge and experience of Oracle and Other ERP systems is strongly desirable.\u00A0OTC E2E Process ManagementProvide monitoring & oversight of the end-to-end Order to Cash day-to-day global activities Identify business process problems and work with a cross function team to define a solutionUnderstand business flows so that they would be in position to offer work-around options, procedural modifications system modifications in order to address business needsBuild relationships with business partners and end-users to grow business process knowledgeProvide Order to Cash expertise to other Functional Groups: P2P, GA, Treasury, Tax, IM, Supply Chain, Commercial etc.Provide initial consulting and problem resolution to functional groups related to Order to Cash questions and issues. Identify and act on incremental innovation opportunities based on requests receivedUnderstand basic master data and its impact on transactional processing and reporting; provide recommendations to issues, break/fixes, projects, and governance rules accordinglyEnsure compliance with global O2C processes, connections to other financial processes, and adherence to process guidelines and timelinesContinually embrace and enhance a control environment with an awareness of revenue recognition requirements, and management efforts to ensure timeliness and accuracy of all revenueMonitor and measure the performance of the O2C process against specified metrics and review reports and performance against defined KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs) Prepare performance metrics (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly) to allow for comparison to predetermined goals and objectivesActively lead and support OTC Operational readiness for new product and country launches Order Management Daily monitors EDI and other automated processes, resolve issues and work with the Global Customer Service & Supply Chain Teams to ensure daily business processes flow without interruption.Use Exception Reporting and Process dashboards to manager overall health of OTC Process.Identify, troubleshoot & track EDI/Automation related issues with internal/external partners to resolution.Perform Data reviews to ensure integrity of data to allow smooth order process flowIntercompanyManage Intercompany Product Requisition Process Working with colleagues across Finance, Planning & Logistics, to ensure product is available in Oracle Warehouse to support 3rd Party Orders Maintain Intercompany Transfer Price Lists Accounts Receivable Assist with timely Month End AR Ledger Close / Month End Close Perform Weekly/Monthly Reconciliations, Sales reconciliations, and Intercompany reconciliationsSupport the year-end financial statement audit process and the SOX audit process.\u00A0EDUCATIONBachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Finance requiredEXPERIENCE & SKILLSMinimum five (5) years of experience supporting Order to Cash processes from one or more of the following areas: Commercial Operation, Supply Chain Logistics, or FinanceMinimum three (3) years of experience working within the life science industry or highly regulated environment requiredExperience with ERP systems requiredExperience with Business to Business (B2B) connections and messaging such as EDI highly desired \u00A0General understanding of Accounts Receivable processes such as Invoicing / Credits, POD and Remittance / Cash ApplicationsExperience working with contracted third-party logistics facilities or contract manufacturers desiredBusiness process analysis and process improvement skills a mustStrong leadership and motivational abilityStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent problem solving and decision-making skillsMust be flexible and able to deal with changing priorities without losing sight of the overall business goalAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teamsA growth mindset and the learning agility to draw upon previous experiences and apply them to new situationsCuriosity to uncover root causes of issues and the drive to correct and prevent themAction-oriented and persistent to work thru ambiguityAbility to work independently and as part of a global, virtual, cross-functional teamProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint highly desiredA good general understanding of Data Formats such as PCL, PDF, XML, PostScript, CSV etc.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
