SUMMARY:  

The Asheville Distribution Center is responsible for sending new products to all J. Crew, J Crew Factory and Madewell stores. Every day is an opportunity to do things differently while supporting one another and the business.   

The LP Rep will be responsible for the safety and security of the workplace, the associates, visitors, and vendors.  In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring operational and safety compliance through audits, training, and awareness. They will be expected to identify areas of opportunity and recommend and/or execute appropriate actions in a timely manner to mitigate risk.

 WE'LL WANT YOU TO…

*Enforce safety and loss prevention policies and procedures to deter loss and mitigate risk through training and awareness programs, compliance, and investigations *Initiate and participate in risk assessments, inspections (burglar, fire alarm, sprinkler system, etc.), safety / shrink meetings / initiatives / training and present in all hire orientations *Maintain CCTV, perimeter access systems and controls *Maintain consistent control of front lobby ensuring everyone has proper ID badge prior to gaining access to the facility, greeting, and assisting visitors and vendors. *Create badges for all new hires *Maintain accurate key control logs as well as lost and found, GC's and other J Crew assets *Ensure the physical security of the building through internal and external monitoring; walk thrus and perimeter tours (all emergency issues reported to management immediately) *Build relationships with the DC teams to create open communication e to facilitate training and safety issues and facilitate investigative leads *Assist with accurate documentation of all inbound/outbound trailers movement. *Ensure seals / locks are inspected and matched against paperwork for accurate accountability. *Identify trends of loss through transportation inbound/outbound shipments in coordination with Logistics *Communicate all safety hazards and issues (i.e., unauthorized labels, damaged cartons, etc.) involving drivers or carriers to management *Participate with PIE Program as trained and directed by LP Mgmt. *Conduct drug and alcohol tests as directed by LP Mgmt. *Conduct new hire orientations and bag checks
