Associate Manager, Sourcing Operations & Analytics
New York City, NY ASSOCIATE MANAGER OF SOURCING OPERATIONS & ANALYTICS PURPOSE AND SCOPE: As an Associate Manager of Sourcing Operations, you will serve in an analytical role on the Sourcing Operations team, responsible for supporting multiple processes related to strategic initiatives and savings tracking. You will also help define and implement process improvements and other initiatives to create greater transparency and visibility to the sourcing organization's performance. The role reports to the Manager of Sourcing Operations and will work with partners in the following functional areas: Sourcing, Design, Merchandising, Tech Design, Quality, Raw Materials, and Finance. RESPONSIBILITIES: *General Management *Foster strong relationships with the cross-functional teams *Provide analytical support to determine the root cause of process issues *Support operational and strategic initiatives as required *Perform business process analysis and support Manager in the design and improvement of new and existing processes and tools *Support Manager in turning analysis and recommendations into effective and concise management presentations | summaries *Reporting *Partner with Manager to create future looking reporting *Drive continuous improvement of existing data quality *Support teams' reporting needs, to create visibility that aligns with process direction *Support updates and modifications to current reporting tools SKILLS/ABILITIES: *Detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven problem solver *Project Management *Skilled in executive reporting and dash boarding *Excellent communication skills *Ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data in short periods of time *Ability to identify and resolve interdependencies between functions and processes TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: *Expert proficiency in Excel is required *Data query proficiency is required *High proficiency in PowerPoint *Data visualization software proficiency are preferred *Experience with FlexPLM is preferred EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: *Bachelor's degree required. *Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably within a Sourcing organization (apparel industry preferred) *Strong track record of project delivery and benefits realization *Experience in implementing projects and initiatives in a self-directed manner We are committed to affirmatively providing equal opportunity to all associates and qualified applicants without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex, marital status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, legally protected physical or mental disability or any other basis protected under applicable law. |
