LOGISTICS COORDINATOR - ASHEVILLE, NC

The North American Transportation Team is responsible for the operations and strategic direction of domestic transportation and distribution of merchandise through **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***'s multi-channel supply chain.  The Logistics Coordinator monitors and manages exceptions interacting with carriers, 3PLs, stores and internal business partners, as necessary.  The Analyst generates reports, validates, and then publishes to internal and external business partners.  The Analyst plans domestic capacity needs and partners with the parcel and lead logistics providers to cover.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Interact with and maintain transportation systems *Manage exceptions within the daily flow of goods from port to distribution center to store *Identify exceptions, anomalies within data sets, correlate to real world transportation events *Maintain current SOP's *Clearly articulate & escalate issues (and wins) appropriately/timely *Report KPI's to provide a holistic summary on performance *Engage with a range of carrier and 3PL partners *Work cross-functionally to ensure process adoption *Understand data sources, pull adhoc report requests *Analyze trends & validate data for monthly executive reporting *Understand 3rd party freight payment requirements, review discrepancies, maintain rate sheets *Evolve and improve existing tools for supply chain visibility

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

*Bachelor's Degree required (or equivalent work experience) *2 years of relevant industry experience with focus on logistics *Supply chain and retail, especially fashion/soft lines, experience a plus *Microsoft Office skills required with strong Excel required *TMS experience preferred

*Self-starter with good judgment and can proactively manage up where appropriate *Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations *Time management/prioritization and follow-up skills *Highly organized and detail oriented *Strong written, verbal and presentation skills *Must demonstrate critical thinking skills
