Forklift Operator (2nd shift) - Lynchburg. VA
Lynchburg, VA FORKLIFT OPERATOR "POWER INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (P.I.E.)" LYNCHBURG, VA NEW INCREASED PAY RATE $16/HR DESCRIPTION: *Safely operates standup picker and other power industrial equipment *Follows safety regulations and company guidelines *Picks/packs, inspects, and ships merchandise to customers *Accurately performs data entry via PC/RF *Achieves production (UPH) standards in all areas *Achieves quality (IQA) standards in all areas *Works with team members in support of process improvements and cost reductions *Understands team objectives within assigned work area *Applies basic skills and procedural knowledge within assigned work area *Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor *Must be able to assist in any area of merchandise processing during busy periods QUALIFICATIONS: *Must be at least 18 years old *Drug screen required *Distribution center experience preferred *Forklift Experience NOT required - we will train you! *No fear of heights - may go up 50ft in the air *Able to lift up to 50lbs *Good time-management and communication skills *Basic math skills and computer skills *Good hand/eye coordination *Ability to work independently or in team as assigned *Good organizational skills and attention to detail *Flexibility - may be required to work in other areas, overtime or extended hours *Understand and follow verbal, written and safety instructions WORK SCHEDULE: *2nd Shift *Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm *Must be availablie to work 3pm-1am when working 10 hour shifts and Saturdays as needed *Overtime as needed BENEFITS AND PERKS: *Health Benefits *401k *Paid Time Off *Associate Discount *Weekly Pay ($16/hr) We are committed to affirmatively providing equal opportunity to all associates and qualified applicants without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex, marital status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, legally protected physical or mental disability or any other basis protected under applicable law. |
