If so, we might have just the opportunity you're looking for! **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***’s (INL) National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) Demonstration Infrastructure and Support/Partner group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Technical Program Manager, Reactor Demonstration.
The Reactor Demonstration Technical Program Manager will support the success of advanced reactor demonstration projects by coordinating work across national laboratories and by leading multi-disciplinary teams to design the purpose-built experimental infrastructure needed by U.S. reactor developers and work directly alongside industry partners as they demonstrate innovations in nuclear reactor design and deployment. An ideal candidate will possess the ability to work closely with other organizations, facilities, operations and business professionals to drive programmatic activities and ensure cost effective and timely execution and completion. The Technical Program Manager will be working to minimize the time required to build and operate novel reactor concepts. This may include coordinating experimental campaigns using existing DOE facilities, developing new facilities and/or capabilities to enable testing and demonstration, ensuring the availability and production of fuel for reactor demonstrations, and preparing sites for operational demonstration reactors.

','!*!Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and 12 years, or Master's degree and 8 years, or PhD and 6 years relevant experience in Nuclear, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or other related degree
5 years of experience in technical program management
Experience in systems engineering or engineering design of pilot plants and experimental facilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance; therefore, US citizenship is required
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

Preferred Requirements:

Master’s degree or PhD in Nuclear, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or other related degree
Experience leading projects in an environment with chemical, radiological, or other industrial hazards
Experience as a technical lead or system architect in nuclear or process technology development
Experience with construction project management
Experience in the maritime industry or supporting related projects/programs
Experience motivating others to act by creating a shared sense of vision/purpose, communicating clearly, and using a collaborative leadership approach
Ability to think strategically, innovate, and understand customer needs on complex engineering projects

Job Information:

Salary Grade PR0400- 230 ($121,212 - $206,232)
Chosen applicants are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
