Description:
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, a private, comprehensive university founded in the Presbyterian tradition, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of full-time faculty member of Information Technology in the School of Business, Economics, and Technology. This is a full-time, twelve-month position, beginning in August 2024. King is located in the beautiful foothills of Northeast Tennessee and is a Christian liberal arts institution. Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will possess an earned master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely-related field with the ability to teach Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and other upper-level Information Technology courses. Applicants should exhibit an enthusiasm for teaching and an interest in maintaining the currency of a technical curriculum.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. degree in Information Technology, and one or more years of full-time teaching experience, preferably online.
Responsibilities:
The appointed applicant will teach courses for majors and non-majors, design and revise courses, contribute to program evaluation, and participate in student advising and mentoring. Participation in university committees, scholarship, and community service is also expected.
