JOB OVERVIEW
The Office of the Provost is currently seeking a Manager of Faculty Development who will support the Executive Director of the FEC by assisting in the daily operations of the center. A commitment to process improvement, equity and inclusion, and professional development are essential values associated with this position.

Under general supervision from a designated administrator, manages and provides leadership in faculty development program planning, delivery, and assessment. Works with faculty and staff to understand needs and assist the Executive Director in creating and supporting professional development opportunities. Supervises student assistants, manages special projects, and delivers training.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Work with the Executive Director to initiate, develop facilitate and deliver training for programs. *Conduct needs assessment surveys, develop training needs, gather data, and help plan professional development opportunities for faculty and staff. *Manage data and use Microsoft Office Suite effectively. *Manage and support different programs offered by the center. *Manage special projects like the annual faculty awards nomination and events. *Supervise student assistants (i.e., hire, orient, train, mentor, and evaluate). *Represent the center in a positive manner at various campus events and engage with various university partners to promote services.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
*Bachelor's degree with three (3) years' experience, -OR- Associate's degree with five (5) years' experience; -OR- seven (7) years' experience; degree and experience must be in a related field. *Complete other duties as assigned including special projects.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
*Master's degree. *Five years of experience working in higher education. *Experience in Faculty Development Programming. *Supervisory experience. *Experience with a student LMS platform like Canvas, Blackboard, or D2L and web tools such as Zoom, WebEx.
