JOB OVERVIEW
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** seeks an academic Clinical Pathologist to participate in clinical laboratory service and laboratory directorship at the UC Health Laboratories.  The UC Health Laboratories include four main hospital laboratories and multiple satellite labs serving hospitals and ambulatory care sites, performing more than 4.5 million billable tests in aggregate annually.  The labs provide modern, multimodality testing encompassing chemistry, special chemistry, hematology, coagulation, flow cytometry, microbiology, molecular pathology, toxicology, blood bank/transfusion medicine and point-of-care testing. This position will provide interpretations of clinical laboratory tests (electrophoresis and coagulation studies, peripheral blood smears, etc.) and support growing needs for laboratory directorship.  Participation in molecular pathology service is also available.  In addition to clinical service, this position requires teaching pathology residents, students, and clinical fellows.  Collaborative research opportunities are abundant.  Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience.  The UC Medical Center is a leader in healthcare in the community, and Cincinnati is a vibrant city that is nationally ranked among the best places to live in the US based upon desirability, value, job market, and quality of life.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree, and be board-certified or board-eligible in clinical pathology and licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio.
