JOB OVERVIEW
As one of the oldest medical schools in the country, the UC College of Medicine has a reputation for training best-in-class health care professionals and developing cutting-edge procedures and research that improves the health and clinical care of patients.

The UC College of Medicine Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST) is recruiting a full time Program Manager.  Under general supervision from a designated administrator, this individual will manage, design, develop, modify and present programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs, classes and workshops. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations. *Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement. *Develop grant proposal guidelines and ensure all regulatory processes are in place for funding to occur. *Implement policies and procedures. *Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports. *Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations. *May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials. *May provide direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). *Perform related duties based on departmental need.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
*Bachelor's Degree. *Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
*Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
