JOB OVERVIEW
Join our small but growing team of Talent Acquisition professionals tasked with creating Impact, Innovation and Inclusion across campus through our hiring efforts.

**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Talent Acquisition in the Central Human Resources department. Reporting to the Executive Director of Talent Management, the successful candidate will direct and oversee the talent acquisition function for the university. This includes managing the recruitment team, developing local and national recruitment plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new and creative recruiting tactics. The Director of Talent Acquisition will also be spearheading executive level searches across the university and taking part in progessing UC's recruitment practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Direct the development and execution of a strategic plan for talent acquisition that promotes diverse candidate pools and drives recruiting key performance indicators. Lead executive searches for the university as appropriate. *Improve organizational attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, staying abreast of compensation practices and emphasizing benefits and total rewards. *Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives that support individual or multiple business units in a consulting role and assist with resolutions. *Partner with hiring managers and HR colleagues to develop and implement strategies addressing critical organizational recruitment needs. Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees, and use social and professional networking sites to identify and attract a high-quality and diverse applicant. *Work with appropriate resources to approve recruiting and job posting advertisements being shared with advertising channels, professional organizations, and other appropriate venues. *Serve as a system administrator for related technology platforms. *Must maintain confidentiality with high level of integrity. Responsible for accurate and timely storage of HR-related documents in accordance with UC's Records Retention Schedule. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). *Perform related duties based on departmental need. REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Seven (7) years of recruiting experience with five (5) years of experience in a leadership role.
