JOB OVERVIEW
Conference & Event Services at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** seeks a Program Director to manage and execute on-campus and external events for a variety of university and non-university clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Direct project teams and oversee group programs; provide instruction. *Perform needs assessment by evaluating programs for quality, appropriateness of content and effectiveness of materials and make recommendations. *Develop and write program materials, address inquiries, provide information and maintain records. *Oversee budget, approve and monitor expenditures and prepare financial reports. *Develop and implement policies and procedures. *Act as a liaison with internal departments, external entities and community organizations. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). *Perform related duties based on departmental need. REQUIRED EDUCATION
*Bachelor's Degree *Eight (8) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
*Four (4) years of experience in program development or business administration. *Some positions may require one (1) year of supervision.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
*Experience with event scheduling and conference management software, specifically CollegeNet 25Live, and Ungerboeck *Experience managing conferences and conventions *Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
*Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
