JOB OVERVIEW
The Department of Psychology at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** (UC) seeks to hire an Assistant Professor-Educator in clinical psychology who will contribute to our APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology, as well as our department's graduate and undergraduate teaching missions. This is a non-tenure eligible educator assistant professor position with a start date of August 2022. The initial term is 3 years, which is renewable upon satisfactory performance.

Note that continuing employment is contingent upon obtaining licensure within 6 months of the initial appointment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The successful candidate will be expected to play a leadership role in the clinical training of our doctoral students, by providing clinical supervision in evidence-based psychotherapy in our departmental training clinic (the Behavioral Health Center), teaching clinically relevant graduate courses such as Introduction to Psychotherapy and Psychopathology, and engaging in service activities related to the doctoral program, such as administrative tasks at the Behavioral Health Center and coordinating external practica for students.

The position will also involve undergraduate teaching, such as Abnormal Psychology, Health Psychology, or courses within the candidate's area of expertise. Individuals in this position are welcome to pursue research if interested, but research output is not expected. The expected teaching load is seven units per academic year; some of these units will be met through teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and some will be met by providing clinical supervision. The structure and facilities of the Behavioral Health Center will also be available to the successful candidate for use in private-practice activities if the candidate desires and is eligible to do so.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Prior to effective date of appointment, candidates must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program, have completed a 1 year APA-accredited internship, and be license-eligible as a Psychologist in Ohio, consistent with the criteria described by the Ohio Board of Psychology (**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** 

At a minimum, it is required that candidates have teaching experience (taught at least one course  or delivered at least 3 lectures or presentations in academic or clinical settings) and at least 3 years of experience  in evidence-based practice (may include practica and internship).
