JOB OVERVIEW

**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, Office of Clinical Research is hiring a Clinical Research Administrator - COM.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Responsible for developing and optimizing operational processes related to clinical research. *Collaborates with various cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement of research processes.  Prepares project plans, monitors progress, designates resources and keeps stakeholders informed throughout all project phases.    *Primary contact for Institutional Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and eRegulatory platform.  Works in partnership with research teams and vendors to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the software.   *Manages clinical trial participant reimbursement platform. *Serves as a resource for internal and external personnel on clinical research processes and best practices.   *Aids Office of Clinical Research leadership in developing standard operating procedures.  
 
REQUIRED EDUCATION
*Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law or Healthcare Management. *Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years of experience in business operations, healthcare, pharmaceutical or academic environment.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
*Strong project management skills.   *Extensive knowledge of clinical trials processes strongly desired.  *Ability to understand various technology platforms. *Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.   *Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills.  *Advanced proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office).  *Ability to interact effectively with a variety of departments, research teams and outside entities and clinical research organizations, and to work collaboratively with university departments. *Demonstrate diplomacy, tact and professional demeanor.  *2-4 years business operations experience, ideally in a healthcare, pharmaceutical industry or academic environment.

*Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
