JOB OVERVIEW
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS), Department of Rehabilitation, Exercise & Nutrition Sciences (RENS) is searching for a full-time Assistant Professor Educator, who will contribute to the department's teaching, service, and scholarship missions. This is a 12-Month per year position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The primary responsibilities of this position are teaching and service to the Department of RENS and CAHS. Teaching, service and scholarship responsibilities include, but are not limited to, course development, primary instruction of didactic courses; participation in student recruitment, retention, and admissions activities; participation in program committee work including program evaluation, accreditation tasks, and other activities as assigned by Department Chair (e.g., department/college service activities, attendance at department/college/community meetings).  Teaching responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching undergraduate courses (gross anatomy) and graduate courses (gross anatomy and neuroanatomy). While student instruction is central to this position, service (e.g., program, department, college and professional such as serving on search committees, academic policy committees, faculty development committees) and scholarship activities (e.g., mentoring students) are also required consistent with faculty evaluative criteria and the missions of the University, College, and Department.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
All prior to effective date of appointment:

*An earned non-clinical doctoral degree, i.e., PhD in Anatomy or related field, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) *At least 4 academic years of experience teaching Gross Anatomy, or foundational or clinical courses (depending on the institution) pertaining to the musculoskeletal system (i.e., Movement Science, Examination), of which at least 1 academic year of teaching is at the graduate level.  Teaching Experience must have also included the use of computer technology and educational learning management systems.
