JOB OVERVIEW On a part-time limited basis, the Clinical Adjunct Faculty Member's primary responsibility is patient care, patient support, and /or teaching and program development in the Clinical sciences. May also contribute to clinicial research, the scholarly and service missions of thew university, administrative service, and other educational activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS *Primary responsibility is patient care, patient support, and /or teaching and program development in the clinical services. *Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and / or graduate-level courses and seminars. *Contribute to clinical research, the scholarly and service missions of the university, administrative service, and other educational activities. *May serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework *Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities. *Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University related communications. *Other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS *Academic degree in an appropriate discipline and prior clinical teaching experience. *Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject. *Must have outstanding writing skills to present research in written format. *Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds. REQUIRED EDUCATION Must have obtained a BSN from a regionally accredited college or university of recognized standing in a field appropriate to the requirments of the position. REQUIRED TRAININGS/CERTIFICATIONS Requires a current and active Ohio RN license.
