JOB OVERVIEW
An Assistant Professor at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is expected to teach, conduct research, scholarly and other professional or creative activities. This position will support **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***'s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff, and all of our activities.

The College of Nursing at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is seeking a tenure-track faculty position to contribute to the research mission of the college. Candidate should be prepared to lead and/or teach in the following areas at the graduate or undergraduate levels. Faculty members in the unqualified track are tenured or tenure-track faculty primarily responsible for research, which includes a consistent pattern of obtaining external funding for research and publications in peer-reviewed publications. Tenured or tenure-track faculty members may also contribute to the pedagogical and service missions of the university, expectations for which may be described in their letters of appointment and in their unit reappointment and promotion criteria.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Attend meetings, participate in governance, prepare materials for teaching. *Evaluate and develop curriculum for department and/or college. *Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars. *Serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework. *Serve on college or university committees and participate in curriculum development activities. *Serve on graduate committees, supervise laboratories (where appropriate), independent study activities, and off-campus learning. *Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities. *Render service to the professional or lay community which is relevant to the individual's academic specialty. *Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications. *Other related duties as assigned.

Additional Information for Applicants

*May be hired as 9-month faculty. *May teach graduate or undergraduate courses. *May be assigned a leadership administrative role to coordinate or direct programs. *Primary teaching semesters may be Fall/Spring; Spring/Summer; Fall/Summer; or Fall/Spring/Summer.  *At least 12 months of Post-doctoral experience is preferred. *Must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion in working collaboratively with faculty and staff while fostering an inclusive learning experience for all students.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have obtained a Doctorate or terminal degree from a regionally accredited college or university of recognized standing in a field appropriate to the requirements of the position.

REQUIRED TRAININGS/CERTIFICATIONS
Requires a valid Ohio RN License or the ability to obtain a RN licensce in Ohio.
