Receptionist - Enrollment
Evansville, IN Work type: Full Time Administrative Location: Evansville, IN Categories: Administrative/Professional, Office/Clerical, Student Affairs/Student Services General Description of Position: The Enrollment Receptionist greets all visitors in-person at the Express Enrollment Center and enters them into queuing system to be seen by a Student Services Professional (SSP). Manages queue, forms, office supplies, etc. Major Responsibilities: Open and close the office. Greet visitors and students, clarify and answer general questions, and/or enter student into queuing system. Provide general information about admissions, registration, financial aid, orientation, assessment, and business support. Manage all necessary forms and understand forms from all departments. Verify completeness of forms and accompanying materials. Maintain appropriate inventory of necessary student materials. Collect and date-stamp student forms for back office/processing support. Ordering of office supplies, nametags, business cards. Submit work orders for furniture, maintenance and upkeep; Helpdesk Tickets for phone, computer and printer issues. Coordinate departmental events, storage room, oversee break room, set up, and clean up. Assist with special projects, provide filing, data entry, clerical assistance. Maintain working knowledge of emergency/safety procedures as provided by supervisor. Be knowledgeable of the locations of the electronic and hard copy of procedures when applicable in order to deliver information as needed to customers. Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in business-related area or equivalent work experience; Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, data entry, or related computer applications required; Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications: Other Requirements: Work Hours: 7:50 am - 4:55pm Hiring Range: $15.50 per hour Full-time, benefits eligible position.
