General Description of Position:
The Executive Director for Project Implementation & Management is responsible for ensuring the timely and successful completion of various grants, projects, and special initiatives within the purview of the Systems Office Workforce team supporting the School of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing.
This is a grant-funded, full-time position. There is no guarantee for continued employment beyond the grant period, which ends on December 31, 2025.
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall administration of implementation and management of various grants, projects, and special initiatives within the purview of the Systems Office Workforce team supporting the School of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing.
Provides project leadership and management for developing and implementing System-level grant-related activities, metrics, and initiatives for the School of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing.
Directs and manages the workflow associated with multiple grants, projects, and initiatives housed within the Systems Office Workforce team supporting the School of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing.
Completes reporting as required by the grants, projects, and special initiatives; and provides clear, consistent, and regular communication to the VP for Healthcare, Ivy Tech staff and faculty, and external partners regarding the progress of various grants, projects, and special initiatives.
Facilitates project meetings and discussions, including crafting meaningful agendas, documenting and synthesizing discussions, and establishing and assigning actionable next steps; and develops detailed, robust implementation plans with built-in continuous improvement methods.
Tracks deadlines, deliverables, and outcomes of projects across the Systems Office Workforce team supporting the School of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing.
Serves as a liaison to campuses, College teams, and external entities to communicate the needs of the Systems Office Workforce team supporting the School of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing. Solicits opportunities for collaboration and participation in cross-functional work groups and committees.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Vice President for Healthcare
SUPERVISION GIVEN: Professional staff assigned to functional responsibilities and positions outlined in specific grants, projects, and special initiatives within the purview of the Systems Office Workforce team supporting the School of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree required.
Five or more years of experience managing complex programs or projects required.
Must have ability and willingness to travel within the state.
Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
Proven success simultaneously managing multiple projects required.
General knowledge of postsecondary education required.
Must demonstrate the ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds our students and employees represent and which every individual feels respected and valued.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree.
Healthcare experience preferred but not required.

$85,000 - $90,000 Annualized
