General Description of Position:
The Director provides oversight of the daily operations of Admission and the Express Enrollment Center. In collaboration with the Vice Chancellor for Student Success, supervises and maintains the Admissions and Express Enrollment Center policies and procedures at the campus.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide oversite of the daily operations of Express Enrollment Center and Admissions
Appropriately staff Express Enrollment Center.
Cultivate a team-based atmosphere with the goal of providing high quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff
Provide ongoing training for all Express Enrollment Center and Admissions staff.
Attend and participate in statewide Admissions and Express Enrollment Center director meetings.
Coordinate all communications, interactions, and problem solving involving Express Enrollment Center and Admissions.
Plans and directs the execution of enrollment activities to achieve enrollment goals.
Assist in budget preparation and control as required.
Maintain proper internal controls and ensuring compliance with College policies and procedures in Express Enrollment Center. Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Develop and maintain personal contacts with community leaders, high school administrators, teachers and counselors
Represent the College at community events, clubs and organizations as assigned. Examples may include attending Chamber events, membership in service organization, etc.
Works with the Vice Chancellor for Student Success and the Director of Marketing and Communication to coordinate and implement marketing plans
All other duties as assigned, consistent with commonly accepted practices
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Two years of experience required in at least one of the four major service areas (Admissions, Registration, Financial Aid, Business Support).
Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and ability to keep business information confidential.
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness and ability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree.
Three - five years supervisory experience.
