General Description of Position:
Assist and support all programs, departments and schools assigned. Reports to the School Dean and helps in daily operations of the office.
Major Responsibilities:
Assist and support Dean, Program Chairs and faculty, full time and adjunct.
Supervise staff and work studies.
Manage student files.
Assist students, face-to-face, e-mail and telephone.
Perform general office responsibilities.
Use computer software for Word processing and database management.
Create correspondence.
Create adjunct contracts.
Run Discover reports.
Order office supplies, instructor materials and textbooks.
Manage school P-card purchases.
Manage line schedules, syllabi and grade books.
Assist Program Chairs with and audit budgets for the School programs each month.
Prepare requisitions, travel, and registrations.
Maintenance and inventory of equipment lists.
Organize, assist and/or plan College functions, such as advisory meetings, club or organization events, or committee meetings.
Able to work with confidential information.
Perform prerequisite verification.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Administrative Office Technology or related degree, and two years of office administration experience, or equivalent experience required.

Minimum of two years of relevant professional work experience preferred.

Must be able to pass a background check and be able to work with high school age students.

Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects required.

Must possess excellent relationship building skills including working successfully with diverse populations, including (but not limited to) college and school personnel, teachers and prospective students.

Must possess effective communication skills (phone, email, and written) and experience in public speaking. Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) is required; experience with a Customer Relationship Management tool is preferred.
