General Description of Position:
Provides administrative support to the School of Health Sciences by functioning as secretarial to the Dean and clerical support to the School's full- and part-time faculty.
Major Responsibilities:
ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS: Assists in administration of the school's functions including:
1. Assist with keying/copying of course materials (syllabi, course outlines, tests, handbooks, etc.) for school's programs.
2. Produce and maintain routine documents for the school including: credit course schedule, faculty roster, faculty block schedules, room schedules, faculty contracts, Payroll Certification Forms, professional development forms and travel vouchers.
3. Maintain student files in accordance with accrediting body regulations, i.e. student health examination forms, immunizations, CPR certification verification, college application, ASSET and PSB testing results, and transcripts.
4. Assist program chairs in the tracking of S & E, lab tech, and part-time faculty budgets and in ordering classroom and office supplies.
5. Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding Health program information.
6. Distribute, track, and compile results of evaluation and demographic forms (student, faculty, program, graduate, and clinical agency).
7. Prepare and assist with compilation of annual reports and self-study reports for accrediting agencies of the school's programs.
8. Assist program chairs with student interview process including the scheduling of interviews and tracking of required forms.
9. Typing and archiving of meeting minutes including: school's committees, program faculty, and Advisory Board.
10. Assist Chair in preparation of College reports.
11. Assist the School of Nursing when their assistant is gone or as the School of Health Science and School of Nursing Deans mutually identify the need for both to assist with related school/program activities.
12. Assist with inquiries, enrollment, registration, background checks, and documentation for CAN/AQM courses.
13. Manage outreach to students with the School of Health Sciences and School of Nursing tin regards to program applications, advising appointments, course registration and retention efforts.
OTHER FUNCTIONS: Assists in administration of School of Health Sciences and college functions including:
1. Preparation for formal pinning ceremony programs within the school.
2. Serve on various college committees/councils and assist with various college activities such as graduation, enrollment activities, etc.
3. Preparation of marketing and curriculum guides.

Minimum Qualifications:
An Associate Degree in Administrative Office Technology or Computer Information Systems and at least three years work experience. Able to type 60 wpm and operate word processing equipment. Must be a self-starter, well organized, capable of mature judgment and able to work independently and for multiple faculty. Must possess good communication skills, an ability to work well with others and maintain absolute confidentiality.
