General Description of Position:
To coordinate the daily operations of K-14 initiatives aligned with Ivy Tech Community College policy and procedures to include but not limited to: Dual Credit, Dual Enrollment, outreach initiatives; Early College initiatives, and all evolving K-14 partnerships. Serve as a source of information on K-14 initiatives, policies and NACEP (National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships) requirements. Work collaboratively with the Director of K-14 initiatives and under the direction of the Director of K-14 Initiatives to identify and facilitate new agreements, maintain current agreements, manage student admission, prerequisite testing, registration and academic advising. Ensure that NACEP Accreditation guidelines are followed in all aspects of the K-14 programming and generate reports necessary to sustain NACEP accreditation. Respond to requests for information on K-14 initiatives activity, successes, and challenges
Major Responsibilities:
Customer Service Overriding Expectation:

Other Responsibilities: Coordination and support of Dual Credit contract renewals and development, faculty credential verification, student registration and grade rosters and one-stop information for secondary personnel, Ivy Tech Program Chairs, dual enrollment parents and students, and academic advisors.
Develop and maintain current databases (i.e. DualEnroll.com) of program information to enable prompt reporting to all essential stakeholders including administration, school chairs, and school system leadership.
Maintain files, registration records and grade rosters required for each program. Keep a compilation of contacts that includes principals, teachers, and counselors.
Create and communicate information on K-14 initiatives for stakeholders including eligibility, enrollment and completion information.
Represent the K-14 Initiatives Office, in the absence of the K-14 Director.
Develop Dual Credit marketing materials.
Make regular visits to assigned school sites to ensure quality and alignment with NACEP accreditation guidelines.
Review program services guidelines, processes, and procedures to ensure optimum quality and where needed recommend changes to enhance quality.
Provide support for K-14 initiatives including student admission, academic advising and registration, record keeping and to provide one-stop information for secondary personnel, special admission parents, students, and academic advisors.
Coordinate with Student Services to support high school college placement testing.
Coordinate the proctor identification process and placement testing preparation activities where appropriate.
Sustain positive working relationships with internal and external audiences including program chairs, faculty, principals, teachers, and counselors.
Communicate information and sustain collaborative relationships with Student Affairs Advising, Admissions, and Registration to gain support in coordinating activities related to K-14 Initiatives
Continually research information on K-14 initiatives including but not limited to early college initiatives and high school-college collaboration partnerships.
Disseminate research in short reports to be communicated to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in program management and development.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be highly motivated and possess demonstrated planning, and organization skills. Familiarity with K-12 environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree. 5-10 years of related experience
