Senior Sourcer

Overview The Senior Sourcer for Talent Acquisition partners closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies focused on critical, difficult-to-fill, and visible roles across the organization. This position ensures consistency of employer brand to attract and recruit diverse top talent and will creatively source, assess, and select qualified applicants for open searches, including networking and cultivating a talent pipeline. The Senior Sourcer is responsible for creating a positive customer experience for applicants, along with anticipating industry trends and utilizing labor market information to ensure best-in-class candidate sourcing. The Senior Sourcer plays a key role in supporting our organizational recruitment efforts, while acting as a mentor to the Sourcer(s), providing expert support and consultation for their role.   This is a hybrid position that is a blend of working both remotely and in office. Must reside in the Northwest Service Region (Oregon or Washington).   Major Responsibilities / Essential Functions   Talent Sourcer Builds talent communities and pipelines that meet current and future needs by utilizing creative and innovative sourcing strategy that leverages current industry best practices Utilizes advanced search techniques including Boolean search on internet portals, social media, LinkedIn, job boards, participation in networking events, contact lists, referrals, blogs, and industry directories to uncover high quality talent pools Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate identification Provides insight to the recruiting team on research/sourcing industry trends, tools, and strategies Coordinates and executes effective marketing campaigns to prospective candidate pools including initiating email blasts, online postings, and social media spots share opportunities Writes blog posts for the Careers site to attract more visitors to the site Conducts cold calls to passive candidates to present opportunities for critical and difficult-to-fill positions Develops and maintains a network and database of potential candidates for future reference including an extensive pipeline of passive candidates Facilitate and maintain relationships with vendors (e.g., LinkedIn, Doximity, PracticeMatch), negotiating contracts, creating standards for the vendors, and finding the best available vendors Regularly evaluate contracted vendors for effectiveness Outreach Liaison Develops solid relationships with regional medical schools, residency programs, fellowship programs, professional organizations, colleges and schools, and community agencies to identify and recruit a diverse slate of candidates for all positions In partnership with the Northwest Permanente (NWP) Graduate Medical Education team, develops opportunities for area medical students to shadow and offer mentoring relationships with NWP physicians Oversees the coordination efforts/steps of organizational presence at recruiting events such as local and national association/society meetings, career fairs, and NWP hosted events, etc. Assessing Strategic Staffing Needs Works closely with the Talent Aquisition Director, Hiring Managers, and Recruiters to evaluate staffing needs and develop an innovative sourcing/recruitment strategy to attract and retain top talent Develops and executes a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment/sourcing strategy to target a diverse pool of qualified applicants for vacancies Partners with recruiters and hiring leaders to develop an in depth understanding of open positions, department needs, and key attributes of a successful candidate Makes recommendations to Recruiter(s) on the referral of qualified candidates to Hiring Managers Physician Recruitment Works with key stakeholders to determine the criteria for selection of clinical staff and trains Hiring Managers and their recruiting teams on best-practice recruiting processes Act as primary department contact for interested candidates, providing detailed information regarding practice opportunities including explaining position requirements, hiring processes and complex compensation and benefit packages Facilitates offer discussions with department and candidates specific to offers, compensation and contracts Metric Management Maintains talent pool metrics across specialties and provides regular reporting on source, outreach, and candidate flow/yield Meet or exceed monthly metrics as identified by Director, Talent Acquisition (i.e., sourced candidate submission targets, interviews, and offers) Minimum Education Bachelor\u2019s degree in human resources, business, or closely related field Minimum Work Experience Minimum five (5) years\u2019 experience in recruitment and marketing/advertising Additional Requirements Experience conducting effective sourcing and/or recruitment for physicians, senior and executive-level positions Proven experience in meeting hiring targets with high quality candidates Experience in conducting effective screening, interviewing, selection, and assessment techniques Additional experience creating or leveraging marketing/advertising, social media, and other industry best practices to develop effective and exceptional sourcing strategies Experience leveraging analytics and an ability to translate metrics, research, and trends to identify opportunities, interventions, initiatives for improvement, and evaluate return on investment Domestic travel required Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications Five (5) years\u2019 experience in recruitment/sourcing across industries.
