Project Manager- Data & Analytics
Oklahoma City, OK Req ID: 265241 BASIC PURPOSE: As a Project Manager focused on Data & Analytics, you will collaborate internally with data experts to scope requirements, prioritize work, and manage the delivery of data and reporting solutions. You will use your analytical skills to understand data in the context of business problems and have a passion for leveraging data to move the business forward. Building relationships with internal customers, including data analysts, data scientists, and product owners, is critical to the success of this position. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to capture requirements, assist with solution design, and track projects to completion * Manage project development from inception to closure * Negotiate competing priorities without sacrificing customer satisfaction * Communicate project milestones to business sponsors and senior management/executives * Evaluate current-state processes and offer solutions for improvement * Document data artifacts and processes in a Data Catalog * Write effective SQL statements to analyze data for research, troubleshooting, and validation * Facilitate working sessions with business and IT to collaborate on optimal solutions EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Experience: 3 years working in a data-related role, preferably technical, such as a Data Analyst or ETL Developer * 3 years managing mid to large-scale projects with high visibility Preferred Experience: At least 1 year working with reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI * Certified in Project Management (PMP or similar) Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required * Bachelor's degree in Business or MIS or equivalent work experience SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Skills: Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or equivalent * Analytical, Organized, and good communicator * Ability to write queries (T-SQL) and understand how data is related * Working knowledge of data warehouse and data marts * Establish and maintain project plans and documentation to ensure clear definition of tasks * Fundamental understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies * Understanding of Data Governance concepts * Data presentation utilizing tools such as Tableau or Power BI * Ability to manage numerous competing demands in a fast-paced environment * Ability to assume individual accountability for achieving organizational goals with minimal supervision Typical Physical Demands: Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. * Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. * Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. * Requires normal range of hearing and vision Job Function(s): Information Technology Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is the industry-leading travel stop network in the United States.
