Sr. Systems Engineer Job

Orbital ATK is currently seeking an experienced Sr. System Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Integration & Test team in our Chandler, AZ office. Role Description & Responsibilities: This position will support the Navy GQM-163A/Super Sonic Sea Skimming(SSST) Target Programs - Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team requiring the candidate to function in a multi-disciplinary environment. The candidate should possess strong technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills to generate and document system level launch vehicle requirements, perform vehicle performance assessments and participate in system level verification/data review activities. Regular interface with program management, engineering staff and external customers is expected. The candidate is expected to operate with limited oversight from engineering leadership personnel in a collaborative environment. A strong experienced-based and academic foundation in Systems Engineering fundamentals is desired. Experience Requirements: * Candidate must have a minimum of four years of related experience. * Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level security clearance which generally requires US Citizenship as a prerequisite. Education/Certifications * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field required.
