Summary/Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities will require direct contact with satellite and space flight hardware. Candidate will be responsible for performing system integration and test activities working in small groups or independently. Candidate must be able to take direction and tackle issues utilizing skills obtained in the field of Electrical engineering, or a related discipline, preferably as it relates to system level integration and test.

Required skills include the ability to communicate clearly, to write clear and technically accurate work instructions, and to use critical thinking to troubleshoot problems. International travel to support launch campaigns may be required. Shift and weekend work to support testing will be required

Specific Duties include:

* Work independently with lead engineers to develop and maintain test software scripts and procedures based on process improvements, product line changes, and new designs
* Integration of electrical components to harness and Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE)
* System level testing of electrical systems (Electrical Power subsystems, Command and Data Handling, Thermal Control Systems, and Attitude Control Systems)
* Launch Campaign system testing and final vehicle preparation at launch sites
* Learn and develop proficiency on ground command and telemetry support systems
* Design and develop ground support equipment checkout and certification procedures
* Evaluate and implement Lean solutions to decrease cycle times
* Writing and testing MAESTRO, STOL or similar script language

Required Qualifications:

* A Bachelors Degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
* US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong Software Background; Matlab, and Perl , Python or C or C Sharp Experience Familiarity with Electrical Test Equipment (oscilloscopes, DMM's, Function generators, etc)
