Orbital ATK has an opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer in Dulles, VA. US Citizenship is required. Active Secret Clearance is preferred. The Senior Electrical Engineer will work with a team of engineers to support the design, integration and test for launch vehicles on the Pegasus Program. Support may include designing electrical cable assemblies, performing various design analyses and processing engineering design changes. Candidate will also support writing and reviewing test procedures for launch vehicles, implementing internal and customer requirements and supporting factory and launch site integration, test and launch activities. Travel of up to 25% of the time may be required. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and 4 years of related experience is required. * Demonstrated experience in space launch vehicle design, launch vehicle and payload integration, system test and vehicle launch activities. * Ability to grasp system level concepts and aid in functional partitioning of existing systems to the end of developing functional system drawings. * Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated leadership experience is a plus. Position may be filled one level lower.
