LPN
Scarsdale, NY Provides direct care for a specific patient population. Administers medications and treatments. Provides patient & family teaching and discharge instructions. Receives patients at Scarsdale office in order to insure the effective delivery of service. Will work at multiple sites when needed (Derm Center, MAP2, Morris Park...). Education/Skills: New York State License for Practical Nurse and current registration to practice as an LPN in New York State. - Basic Life Support. - Effective English communication skills, written, oral and interpersonal. - Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval system. - Additional education required by specialty areas/patient care locations. Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English. Ability to deal effectively with public and medical staff. Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills. Automated clinical information system Personal Computer Telefax Photocopier Telephone Centrifuge EKG Machine Sterilization process and/or Autoclave Machine where applicable. Misc. Dermatology Surgical Equipment where applies. Allergy Equipments where applicable.
