EXEC DIRECTOR BRONX HEALTH COLLECTIVE
Bronx, NY

The Executive Director has broad based responsibilities for overall program development, implementation, organization, coordination and funding of all clinical service site and activities within the Bronx Health Collective (including the Homeless Health Care Program, our Community Health Centers at 871 Prospect Avenue and 890 Prospect Avenue, and all other direct service initiatives).  

The Executive Director works with the Executive Vice President in developing long and short term programmatic and fiscal goals of the BHC. Programmatic responsibilities include oversight of clinical services, administration, operations, fiscal management and technology systems. This position additionally has responsibility for ensuring integration of the BHC programs within Montefiore, as well as coordinating relationships and services with community-based organizations. This position reports to the Executive Senior Vice President, Moses Campus and Wakefield Campus, and to the Montefiore Board of Trustees.  That information can be included in the "Reports To" section.

It is essential that the Executive Director of BHC have a firm understanding of health service delivery systems and reimbursement issues impacting indigent and undeserved inner city families. The Executive Director must have the ability to operate and communicate within and between multiple organizational agendas, including those of the Bronx Health Collective, Montefiore and multiple funding agencies. The person filling this position must have:

• 5-10 years senior level administrative and program/fiscal development experience in the health care field
• Proven supervisory/staff development skills
• Excellent oral/written communication and analytical skills

Mastes Degree prefrerred

Bachelors Degree required
