We are looking for a new leader for the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** Network Technology Systems team, which has two key responsibilities - support the network that exists today and design and build the media network of the future. JOB DUTIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES: *You will support and coach a positive, highly collaborative group and you will continue to build this team with a focus on diversity and openness. *You will be responsible for building and implementing strategic programs that directly impact the media business. *You will work closely with our partners in **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** (like CTV News, TSN and RDS) to ensure we provide our customers with the best products and services. *You will work with our partners in Network and Technology Services to accelerate the Media transition to cloud and to ensure the overall security of the network. *You will lead a team with Architectural accountabilities to enable forward-looking design supporting NextGen workflows, and Operational responsibilities ensuring 7x24 uptime of Media Productions *You will closely manage department Financials supporting Capital expenditures for the networking portfolio as well, sustain Operational expense including circuit management and support contracts (EWP) CRITICAL SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES: *The ability to collaborate with clients, partners and vendors to solve problems and improve workflows *Ability to work independently with minimum supervision *Demonstrated leadership capacity in Network, Media, Broadcast, Telecom and/or Data Centre environments *Fluent in Data Networking compromising of LAN, WAN, Cloud, and Transport technologies *High-level understanding of IP networks including switching, routing, and advanced protocols *Knowledgeable in security principles with best practice implementation of network segmentation, security zoning, firewall/DMZ principles, etc., to keep network fully secure PREFERRED SKILLS: *Familiar with Broadcast technologies such as PTP, SMPTE 2110, Digital encode/decode technologies, Multicasting for Audio & Video, etc. *University degree or equivalent experience #Talent #LI-SM1 Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
