 SENIOR DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION COORDINATOR

WHAT DO WE DO?

Bell Technical Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bell Canada that specializes in the installation of Bell services, including home phone, Internet and Fibe TV. WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As a member of the Human Resources team, you will collaborate with the Consultant, Human Resources to support departmental objectives focused on employment equity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of a variety of employment equity programs and committees, as well as to be a subject matter expert and prime for foreign workers at BTS.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?

*Act as a primary contact for any inquiries related to our foreign worker programs, women at BTS initiatives, and general diversity and inclusion plans *Liaison with internal Bell stakeholders, various Human Resources Teams, and Community Partners *Work with Government Agencies such as Service Ontario, ESDC, and the CHRC *Support managers and employees on work permit application and expiry process *Track and update all foreign worker metrics and update the Bell Temporary Foreign Worker tool to ensure government compliance *Facilitate monthly ambassador calls that act as subcommittees to assist corporate D&I initiatives *Create and facilitate trainings for leaders and employees on various diversity and inclusion topics *Maintain and develop relationships with outreach organizations for persons with disabilities, BIPOC, women, and foreign workers *Coordinate and plan events for various diverse groups and celebrations, including international womens day and Pride Month. *Generate various HR reports for annual employment equity submission and monthly calls *Develop/Provide PowerPoint slides for monthly calls to present to Senior Leadership *Support various committees such as Women at Bell, and employment equity committee *Oversee and support various projects including the foreign worker plan, new hire retention initiatives, Women at BTS, as well as other HR team initiatives
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

MUST-HAVE

*Bilingual (French and English) *Post-secondary education with concentration in human resources management or industrial relations, or equivalent combination of education and practical experience in the field of human resources *2-3 years' relevant experience in a coordinator role conducting reporting and data analytics *Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy working with Excel and PowerPoint *Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) *Team player and strong interpersonal skills *Ability to work and deal with people at different hierarchical levels, including the union *Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines *Ability to multi-task in a context of ongoing change *Strong organizational and priority-management skills *Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality *Customer service centric *Excellent oral and written communication skills

*Proficiency in using SAP HR (an asset) *CHRP Certification (an asset)
