POSITION: Web Producer (Intern) - TSN.ca

LOCATION: Agincourt/Remote

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

HOURS OF WORK: Up to 40 hours per week. Overtime as required. Includes regular weekend and night shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Working with TSN's Digital team to create, edit and re-purpose content for TSN's web, mobile and social media platforms including written news, features, photos, blogs and other material. *Updating, maintaining and refreshing content for TSN's web, mobile and social media platforms in a timely fashion. *Responsible for the accuracy of all content subject matter and its publication on the various platforms, while adhering to department philosophy and standards.  *Working with Co-ordinating Producer, Senior Producer (News) and Sr. Producer (Features/Events) to define and evolve product vision on all digital platforms. *Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*Working towards a degree in journalism and sports writing background preferred, with a passion for sports and technology. *Must have in-depth sports knowledge. *Strong understanding of social media and new technology platforms. *Knowledge of HTML, CSS, DreamWeaver and Photoshop are an asset. *Clear and concise writing skills. *Familiarity with events, people, and institutions that shape major sports. *Highly organized, self-motivated and creative.  Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain creativity in a high-pressure, deadline oriented environment. *Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well individually and/or in a team.

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
