POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Bell Retail IT team is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior IT Program Manager, Digital Transformation to join our team. 
The Senior Program Manager within the Retail IT Team is accountability for IT solutions, delivery and operations transitions of large and complex Retail IT programs. The prime responsibility of this position will be strategize and implement program initiatives by overseeing multiple project teams and communicating with delivery, business teams and sponsors for successful program delivery; manage timeline and budget/funding for the program overall. The successful candidate will have advanced IT program management skills including communication and interpersonal skills, vendor management skills as well as an ability to understand complex technology solutions and interdependencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

*Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers, functional managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives *Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives  *Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors *Develop and manage budget/timelines for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives *Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity   *Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department *Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders *Lead Executive presentations on solution reviews across the Business and IT units *Manage a small team of contract or full time Project Managers, Business Analysts responsible for delivery of projects

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES

*Bachelor's degree in IT, software engineering, Computer Science and/or significant working experience in IT (10 years) *10 years' experience in in a role of technical project manager, program/project manager or delivery prime in software development environment *2 years in an advanced management role (preference given to those with program management experience) *Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills *Excellent oral, written and presentation skills to clearly express and communicate concepts, designs and proposals. Ability to communicate highly complex matters and adapt to the target audience and forum. *Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in Agile and Waterfall software development lifecycles, PMP and SCRUM certified *Strong understanding of the role of security practices and methodologies in software development  *Strong understanding of the role of performance and monitoring in software development life cycle *Excellent problem solving/analytical skills with ability to identify and address issues on a timely basis. Ability to conceptualize and think abstractly, and work and manage in a technically complex environment. *Ability to work effectively with senior management, peers and junior staff, both internally and externally, with business and professional skills in Information Technology. *Strong work ethic with a focus on collaborative problem solving and solutions delivery.  *Ability to use a diplomatic approach to work with high level stakeholders and introduction of changes in the business *Ability to manage ambiguity, uncertainty and changing priorities *Solid business acumen, Strong customer focus *Demonstrated ability to learn; both complex technical concepts and end to end business processes
 
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES

*Experience in the Telecommunications industry  *Basic understanding of Retail Systems and environments *Experience in IT best practices specifically Agile, ITIL and CMM *Experience of Bell's systems and processes *Experience in digital marketing or digital project deliverables (Websites, apps, etc.) *Experience with eCommerce, Supply Chain and Omni-channel *Experience with Hybris, SAP products is an asset *Experience with Digital transformation projects

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
