Business Intelligence Analyst, AlarmForce (Contract)

Bell Smart Home is looking for a key member of the technology team to help build a new reporting capability within the organization - that empowers business users with the right tools to drive their own analysis. The right candidate will act as an intermediary between the business community and IT to elicit, clarify, translate and document business requirements into conceptual designs from which solutions are developed and implemented. Role Responsibilities: *Work through all stages of a business intelligence solution life cycle: analyze/profile data, create conceptual, logical & physical data model designs, design and develop ETL, reporting and analytics solutions *Maintain and improve the business intelligence solutions that deliver the reports, scorecards, dashboards, and ad-hoc SQL queries *Perform stored procedures development and SQL script writing *Develop, maintain and enhance database modules and system components *Interact directly with business stakeholders at all levels of the organization to deliver business intelligence solutions *Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and be able to effectively communicate issues, actively engage, influence, and work collaboratively as a team member *Maintain data-related documentation: data dictionary, calculations, logic and business rules - including development of KPIs and dashboards *Run ad-hoc database queries to support delivery of ad-hoc reporting requirements as required; RFIs, marketing presentations, regulatory, legal and compliance reporting and financial statement support Critical Qualifications/Competencies: *Bachelor's degree in business or computer related disciplines *3-5 years of Business Intelligence experience in various database environments *3 years experience with data modeling and designing reporting data marts *Experience with Microsoft tools such as Excel, and BI stack *Experience developing custom integrations between Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other applications a strong plus *Experience with SAGE, infrastructure (servers, VMware) would be considered an asset *Strong analytical thinking *Experience analyzing end-user requirements, performing data analysis, and developing reporting specifications *Excellent verbal and written communication *Ability to articulate advanced technical topics and build consensus among business and technical constituents *Experience preparing and delivering management presentations and reports ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: POSITION TYPE: Contractor POSITION LEVEL: N/A Alarmforce JOB LOCATION: Canada : Ontario : Toronto CONTACT NAME: **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** APPLICATION DEADLINE: 10/07/2021 PLEASE APPLY DIRECTLY ONLINE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.
