The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.  

BCE Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy and M&A to report to the Director, Corporate Strategy and M&A group located in Toronto.

The Corporate Strategy and M&A group provides high quality financial and strategic advice, analysis, and project management support to senior and executive management of BCE and its subsidiaries, with the ultimate objective of enhancing shareholder value.
The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the following:

*Earn a reputation as the "go to" resource for complex problem solving; *Support cross-functional strategy projects with business unit and corporate teams across BCE; *Support the Director and the team in developing cross business BCE wide partnerships to drive new growth opportunities; *Effective management and coordination of cross-functional teams across Bell organization *Help develop, test, and communicate hypotheses on how to maximize value creation at Bell;  *Identify key industry, competitive, and technology trends and communicate strategic implications; *Support the SVP and the broader team in the development of industry and technology analysis and research pursuant to strategic projects, investments, acquisitions, divestitures for BCE and its many subsidiaries; *Conduct market research, competitive assessments, cost / NPV studies, or other analysis; *Participate in and support annual strategic planning process with each of  BCE's business units; *Development of top quality presentations to senior and executive management in the organization.

The successful candidate must have the following profile, core skills, and competencies:

*Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to synthesize data into actionable recommendations; *A minimum of 5 years experience in management consulting, corporate advisory or corporate development, would be an asset; *Track record of excellence in strategic insight  / thought leadership; *Advanced problem solving and analytical skills; *Proven ability in organizing & leading a full-range of cross-functional strategy projects and/or M&A projects; *Strong quantitative skills as evidenced by a CFA, M. Sc (Finance), MBA or CBV would be an asset; *Extensive knowledge / interest in telecommunications industry in Canada or comparable market;  *Latest understanding of technology trends would be a plus;  *Creative and innovative with ability to work independently.

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
