If you’re a Control Systems IT Engineer with experience Process Control Systems, then this role is a chance to develop your technical expertise whilst working for an industry leader.

What’s the role?

The Control System IT Engineer is a deep technical expert in the support, configuration and periodic change or patching of Process Control Systems and their integration into the overall local network (called the Process Control Domain). They are also skilled in the configuration and maintenance network security controls that safeguard the process control layer from outsider access.

Some of the key deliverables and responsibilities of this role are:

Plan and organize information security work within PCD.
Ensure interfaces are clearly defined and documented.
Ensure ownership and delegations of authority for IT equipment, systems and applications in PCD is clearly defined and documented.
Have an overview of security measures implemented and documented non-compliance to information security requirements.
Develop, maintain and execute any site-specific procedures required to maintain PCD security compliance.
Installing, Updating and periodically scanning/Monitoring of all the IT systems in PCD networking using implemented tools, systems and applications
Review security logs, report findings/security incidents if any and escalate where needed. Ensure incidents are properly investigated, remediated, reviewed and closed
Manage and Facilitate scanning of removable media/disable use of removable media/drives in PCD where applicable.
Authorize data communication channels, system and user access to applications and systems in the PCD through PAAZ system
Developing, testing and upkeep of disaster recovery plans
Manage System access to suppliers for remote support/monitoring in a safe and secure manner where needed with endorsement from business

Requirements:

What we need from you

Good experience in a similar role
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar certification
Cybersecurity industry certification such as Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) is an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in the support/administration of IT infrastructure services and business risk management.
Relevant exposure to PACO, Production and Operations is an advantage.
Must have legal authorization to work in Australia on a full-time basis.
Must be apt to work aboard of FPSO (floating production storage and offloading) unit
Excellent communication skills in English.
Certificates in Network (CCNA or equivalent), Operating Systems (Windows MCSA modules) and Cyber Security: SSCP

You will have demonstrated strong motivation and excellent communication skills at all levels. You will also require the capability to manage and resolve problems and to have a clear understanding of the objectives of the operation from a business perspective.

To be successful in the role you must lead from the front with solution based positive mindset, and demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills to be effective in this environment.
