SUMMARY
Global Technical Services (GTS), LLC a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, is looking for a Help Desk Support Service Specialist at Ft. Rucker, AL.  Ft. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting multiple Classrooms, audio/visual (A/V) and video teleconferencing (VTC) systems and help desk support for the US Army Combat Readiness/Safety Center and Safety University. Position will be responsible for testing, monitoring and troubleshooting a variety of complex platforms, operating systems, networks and applications using established procedures. Primary daily operations include maintaining and troubleshooting the multiple Classrooms, VTC equipment, VTC schedules, and conference room reservations.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Windows 10 Certification
Security Certification
Minimum of 2-4 years working knowledge of VTC/AV systems
Minimum of 2-4 years of IT help desk and customer support
Experience working with various networks and applications
Experience working with Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10)
Maintain daily performance of computer systems
Respond to email messages, tickets, and phone calls for customers seeking assistance
Work directly with customers to resolve a variety of IT related issues
Experience with Active Directory (i.e. create and delete accounts, group membership, etc.)
Must be flexible and adaptable to changing environments and short notice changes.
Work environment will be supporting senior military personnel, so candidate must be able to work in a stressful environment
Experience with cable assembly (ex..RJ-45, RJ-11, DB9, RCA, COAX, BNC, DB25, DB37 etc.)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be able to obtain a SECRET security Clearance
Ability to document all project tasks according to deadlines
Ability to transport computer equipment to and from various locations
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run
Audio Visual experience in setting up and maintaining microphones, Speakers, Projectors and other Classroom/Conference room equipment
Ability to work under pressure or potentially stressful situations and remain calm and focused
Must be customer oriented
Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint presentation/slides
Good time management skills
Good interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external customers and vendors
Preferred
Experience with Tandberg (CISCO) VTC suites and conference bridges desired
Experience with DOD classified VTC networks and Network infrastructures desired

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.  Typical work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m (Central Time). Job may require additional hours. Work hours may change at Management’s discretion with or without prior notice.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
